Catering Coordinator Sales Representative

We are accepting applications for a Panera Bread Catering Sales Representative position, based out of our Lincoln, RI, office.

Description of Position:  Howley Bread Group Ltd., a franchisee of Panera Bread, is now hiring a Catering Sales Representative to support our Panera Bread cafes in RI, CT and Southeastern MA. The role’s primary focus is to grow an existing book of business, prevent client lapsing, and source new clients. Responsible for exceeding sales goals and client activity targets. Leveraging existing client base, networking and prospecting for new opportunities through research and client referrals. The goal is to advance the overall goals of HBG through effective Catering support of Panera Bread bakery café retail sales.

Position reports to: Catering Operations Manager

Requirements of Position:  

Must have associates degree from accredited college, preferably a B.S. in Marketing or Communications. Two years of direct sales experience required, with preferred experience in Salesforce. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, and PowerPoint is required. Catering restaurant experience and the ability to generate sales, recovering lapsed business is key. Candidate must be a high-energy individual, presenting excellent customer service, attention to detail, communication, interpersonal, and relationship building skills. Individual must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on being goal-oriented and results-driven.
