PURPOSE/OVERALL OBJECTIVE

T
his position leads a team of 10 to 15 employees focused on providing complete sales planning and sales operation support to Charter Commercial Enterprise Strategic/ Vertical/ National Accounts. Sales Planning is comprised of three primary areas: Territory and module management, Sales Enablement (Sales CRM, tools, and applications support) and Sales Standardization (Sales strategy implementation, communications, methods and procedures). This key position is routinely engaged at the GVP/VP level; working with peers in the development, execution and management of Sales strategies and initiatives.

Minimum Required years of Relevant Experience

The ideal candidate for this role will possess 11-15 years of progressive experience and a minimum of 10 years in a leadership role. This individual will have a combined background in direct sales, sales management, accounting with significant experience with budgets and analytics, and background in Salesforce Planning and employee coaching, training and development. Ideally, he/she will also be experienced with multiple CRM systems such as Salesforce.com and other SaaS applications, be highly skilled/experienced with time management and project management, and be very organized

Financial Accountability
Direct financial accountability - Minimal $0-10m
Indirect financial accountability - Minimal $10-50m

Level of Direct Interaction
Participation in SVP staff meetings, strategy recommendations to SVP
Participation in regular staff meetings, daily decision making interaction w/ GVPs
Cross-functional teaming on projects such as Field Automation or Salesforce
Interaction with users to gather feedback and present strategy
Daily interaction with team and cross-functional peers developing strategies and/or developing implementation plans for key projects and initiatives

Minimum Required Education and/or Certifications
Bachelors Degree with combined background in direct sales, sales management, accounting with significant experience with budgets and analytics, and background in Salesforce administration and employee coaching, training and development
