Full Time - Retail Sales Associate

We are seeking:

• A people person: Friendly, Outgoing, and Reliable.
• Persons with interests in pet care .

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• This is a full time position. Due to the specialized nature of our industry this is a long term position and is not compatible with school schedules.
• Must be able to work BOTH weekend days and have reliable transportation.
• Generating Sales
• Delivering a positive customer experience
• General operational duties as assigned by the management tea
• Greet customers immediately upon entering the store and create a positive first impression.
• Assess customer needs and provide courteous, helpful and knowledgeable service throughout the store.
• Facilitate a superior check out experience.
• Participate in other operational activities.

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Enjoys working with animals and people.
• Is team oriented and flexible .
• Able to work 6 days a week.
• Works well with peers and management to accomplish duties.
• Is punctual and adheres to designated work schedules.
• Has some previous experience in customer service and/or has worked with animals.
• Is a high school graduate or the equivalent.
• Has the ability to lift a box or bag of up to 50 lbs and can stand for an entire shift.
