A successful Paid Search Lead will have the following:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field, and a minimum of 2-4 years’ experience in digital marketing; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 
  • Demonstrated ability to synthesize, prioritize and drive results with a high sense of urgency and an ability to think creatively, strategically and quickly and to learn and act quickly.
  • Strong interpersonal skills that encourage team partnership, promote enthusiasm and foster strategic thinking as well as ability to effectively manage projects with strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Sound qualitative and quantitative analytical skills and working experience with Data Management Platforms, Google AdWords, Google Analytics, and/or other prominent paid search tools and analytical platforms.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment with a high capacity to multi-task and handle tight deadlines on a daily basis.
  • Proven experience in working directly with senior leadership teams with excellent attention to detail, creativity, motivation and communication skills. Previous experience with other facets of Digital marketing (SEO, Display, Video, Site Management, etc.) a plus.

Primary responsibilities fall into the following categories:

  • Responsible for defining and managing projects to improve the effectiveness and knowledge base of DISH’s retail partners in regards to search programs, site side best practices, and potential areas for improvement.
  • Actively monitor and assess search marketing landscapes to ensure that the DISH brand is protected and maintained for the benefit of both the indirect and direct marketing channels and not that of third parties.
  • Develops and maintains dashboard and scorecards on the progress and effectiveness of DISH’s various partner programs and individual reports for each retailer being impacted by planned training efforts.
  • Works closely with Indirect Sales and Brand organizations to develop processes to understand partner needs, consolidate improvement/requests, analyze results, and deliver strategic recommendations.
  • Benchmarks DISH’s direct search program and help ensure best in class management and practices across various programs.
  • Organize and maintain all documentation and up-to-date status of Digital POs, memos, invoices, budget changes, budget shift requests, budget processes, vendor backup files and more. Administer day-to-day spend of $90MM digital budget and serve as central node of communication among Digital team, Marketing, leadership, Marketing Finance and external vendors.
