About this job
Supervisors will manage 4 work cells total of about 25 people. Oversee daily activities on the floor, including safety, quality, and production. Training of employees in 5S and measure compliance. Work with engineering department daily to increase yields and decrease scrap. Used role playing, simulations, team exercises, group discussions, videos and lectures to instruct participants in a variety of ways. Planned and paced work efficiently in order to meet daily, weekly, project or production goals.
Motivate employees to hit daily and production numbers. Work with maintenance department to schedule and plan preventative maintenance on production equipment.
Supervisors can anticipate 55+ hours a week.
Automotive or heavy manufacturing experience is a must.
