Treasury Coordinator - Full-time / Part-time

BASIC PURPOSE: The primary purpose of the Treasury Representative position is to administer the retail store level bank accounts and related activities; serves as primary liaison between the bank, retail store manager and accounting, and other Treasury functions.

 

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Monitor store bank activity and balances
• Responsible for cash concentration and monitoring accuracy of accounts via Treasury Workstation
• Perform accounting duties such as journal entries, monthly workpapers and reconciliations
• Oversee daily and monthly store bank reconciliation process
• Assist accounting with reconciliation issues and research with banks
• Perform analysis of bank balances and cash efficiencies
• Assist with opening/closing accounts and manage relationships with bank personnel

 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Education:

• HS Diploma or equivalent required
• Business Degree or equivalent training/experience

• Experience:

• 1-3+ yrs cash management, accounting or related business experience preferred

 

SKILLS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Skills:

• Hard Skills: Strong PC skills, including Microsoft Office Products (advanced Excel), Treasury Workstation and SAP; fundamental understanding of banking and/or cash management processes

• Soft Skills: Self-motivated; excellent verbal and written communication; integrity in dealing with confidential data;        analytical with attention to detail and accuracy; ability to work effectively in a team environment

• Typical Physical Demands:

• Requires prolonged sitting, some bending and stooping.
• Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds.
• Manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer keyboard and calculator.
• Requires normal range of hearing and vision.
