Electrical Engineer - Full-time / Part-time

Our industry leading Aerospace client is seeking an Electrical Engineer to fill an immediate need. In this role, you will perform electrical design integration with other subsystems and stakeholders and lead the Electrical Interconnect System development team. This includes wiring and harness engineering drawing creation and support through the vehicle build process.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Requires a BS in Related Field and 5+ years of experience.
• Knowledge of interface and design documentation such as functional block diagrams.
• Experience with vehicle wiring/harness design and physical routing/layout.
• Experience with electrical CAD design packages (such as Mentor Graphics Capital/VeSys, Zuken E3) and physical CAD tools (such as SolidWorks, NX)
• Experience leading electrical integration efforts for an aircraft or spacecraft program.
• Knowledge of aircraft/spacecraft connector standards.
• Experience with routing multiple classes of electrical signals with consideration of electromagnetic compatibility, including high power, avionics, and communications signals.
• Experience with NASA electrical design and workmanship standards, including the NASA 8739 series.
• Knowledge of EMI/EMC standards, such as MIL-STD-461.
• Strong teamwork and integration skills demonstrating the ability to coordinate wiring and harness requirements from multiple subsystems.
