JOB SUMMARY

The HR Onboarding and Training Specialist is responsible for training and maintaining documents in HR Shared Services. HR Shared Services is the first point of contact for current and former associates with questions on HR policies/procedures. The HR Specialist focuses on developing new training materials, updating existing documents and maintaining the knowledgebase inventory. The Specialist will also be responsible for the quality assurance aspect of Shared Services by identifying training needs for the Shared Service Representatives and ensuring that accurate information is being delivered to callers. If appropriate the HR Specialist may take escalated calls pertaining to complex issues to ensure superior customer service and equitable administration of the company HR policies and procedures.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Works with the Onboarding Supervisor to create new training documents and reference materials for new work being brought into Shared Services.
  • Delivers training for new hires, new processes and refresher trainings for HR Shared Services Representatives.
  • Partners with Business units, COEs, HRBPs and SMEs pertaining to documents being created for new work being brought into Shared Services and obtaining final sign offs.

  • Thinks creatively, critically and analytically to gain full understanding of new and existing processes.

  • Consistently audits existing documentation and training materials to ensure they have the most up to date information
  • Works with the HR Shared Services Supervisors in identifying training needs through call monitoring, trend analysis and review of tickets.
  • Fosters relationships with COES and HRBPs to ensure high levels of service
  • Proactively identifies processes that need to be improved upon and works with Supervisor to create a plan to implement improvement.

  • Special projects as required.

REQUIRED SKILLS:
  • MUST have detailed knowledge of HR Shared Services current offerings as well as the ability to quickly become proficient in newly onboarded work.
  • 2 - 4+ years of Benefits/HRIS and/or H.R. Generalist experience
  • Strong documentation and training skills
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) and customer service skills
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Strong administrative, organizational skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Visio preferred, but not required
  • ORACLE
  • Knowledge of HR systems
  • Knowledge of HR policy and procedures
  • Call Center experience preferred
