Coders Part Time/Full Time

Nurses or Coders who are ready to stop working nights weekends and holidays, who are done working hands on clinical care in a hospital or clinic, but are not ready to stop working often find this line of work is a great fit for them.

PLEASE NOTE: you must be living in Illinois for this role. Even though you have the opportunity to work from home after 3-6 months, candidate must be willing to go to the office for training.

This type of work is regular, consistent and flexible.
We do not have any contact with the patients, so that is a big change from those that are used to delivering hands on patient care everyday.

This opportunity is open for RN, LPN, AND CODERS

OASIS Coders:

Must be Oasis Certified
Good computer skills
Experience in the home health industry
Strong preference for candidate to be RN or LPN.
Part time 20-30 hours per week
Can work remote a few days per week once trained (about 3 months after starting)

Certified Coding Specialists, CCS:

Knowledge of CCS Coding
good computer skills
able to work in office environment
RN, LPN strongly preferred
Can work PT or FT (only 1 of the 2 will be FT).
Can work remote a few days per week once trained.

RAC-CT:

Must have experience in long term health, nursing home
MDS coordinating (minimal data set)
Can do Part time or Full time.
Can work remote a few days per week once trained.

• Our clinical staff are made up of primarily nurses. RN, BSN and a couple of LPNs. They do a quality assurance check the reports that our reviewing physicians send back to us.
  They look for clinical correctness, grammar errors, date and gender errors, compare report to associated medical records for accuracy, ensure all questions and criteria have been addressed and well substantiated before the report is sent back to the client.
• If there are questions then the QA Coordinator reaches out to the reviewing physician for clarification.

Other professionals who would be good at this kind of work would be Licensed Clinical Social Workers, Physicians or Nurses who were licensed and practicing in a different country before moving to the USA. They have great clinical background and knowledge that makes them very capable.

It does require working on a computer all day, there is very little paper being used.
