Production Team Lead

Express Employment Professionals is now hiring a Compounder Team Lead for a manufacturer of personal care products. This company is one of the fastest growing companies in our country over the past several years. They continue to grow and are adding a new sister company.

This person will ensure on-time arrival of materials for production jobs to run in a manufacturing environment. Reports to the supply chain manager, but serves as a liaison to the production and scheduling personnel.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Enforce company, state and federal rules and regulations
• Assist with internal audits
• Train, discipline and counsel employees as required
• Confirm orders with internal and external personnel to develop timelines and update production schedules.
• Assist with inventory / cycle counts by running reports, ensuring accuracy, and entering data.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND OTHER QUALIFICATIONS:

• Required: High School Diploma or GED, but Associate’s Degree or higher preferred

• 3-5 years of experience in production
•  

In addition, the candidate must work well in a small team environment, maintain a positive attitude and demonstrate a good work ethic to achieve common team goals.

• Proficient with Microsoft Products
• Strong organizational, problem solving and leadership skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Must be able to work 2nd shift, salaried based on experience ($17-18 per hour) with 401K, medical, dental, vision, life, vacation and holiday pay.
