GPS Technician - Full-time / Part-time

Day-to-day:

- Preparing for collection, i.e. create project; get necessary maps of survey area(s)

- Provide technical guidance guidance in the use of GPS technology

- Performs QA/QC on data, processes and workflows

- Capable of planning field collection, directing field crews, evaluating data quality and generating progress reports

- Drive out to site

- Collect needed GPS data

- Export project from controller

- Post-process as needed (some features are lines or polygons and need to be drawn before submittal)

- Submit or place collected features into project folder

- Charge equipment for the night

- Trimble R8s (antenna)

- Trimble TSC3 (controller) running Trimble Access software

- Verizon 4G LTE Jetpack

- 2 meter adjustable pole with bipod

Capturing points using Stake-out, Static, TOPO, Fast Static

Survey styles PPK and RTK
