Electrical Engineer

In an effort to expand the capabilities of their engineering team, an innovative renewable energy company is looking for an Electrical Engineer to help with the design and continued development of the company's large scale renewable energy products. This person will be responsible for the creation and maintenance of electrical, mechanical, and/or structural plans related to the line of products. Utilizing Solidworks, the engineer will be required to interpret NEC code and use it for design.

Qualifications

• Design experience in integrated modular equipment
• Experience and hands-on knowledge of best practices in electro/mechanical/structural engineering for renewable energy products
• Experience with utilizing development tools such as FEMA and engineering tools such as FEA
• Knowledge of power systems, power electronics, and controls
• Experience with manufacturing processes and Lean/Six Sigma practices
• Experience with SCADA systems, GE Modbus, and TCP preferred
• B.S. Electrical Engineering preferred
• Medium voltage transformer experience highly preferred
• A passion for renewable energy
