About this job
The Purchasing Manager is responsible for procurement of materials and supplies needed for the operation of the organization, managing customer and supplier contracts, agreements and terms. Maintains, develops and recommends to management the purchasing policies for the organization.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years in purchasing/procurement for the automotive manufacturing environment. Seat manufacturing company experience a plus.
- 5+ years supervisory experience
- Contract management development, implementation, and review.
- Negotiation tactics and skills
Firm understanding of financial impact of purchased goods - Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Business/Finance preferred - equivalent work experience will be considered
