Job Description & Qualifications:
Job Summary
Develop and execute Communications Strategy and Marketing Projects through implementation and management. Create marketing communications and manage special corporate events such as Trade Shows, Corporate Presentations, etc.
Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities
- Design, develop and implement a Field Communications Strategy.
- Work with various partners from Sales, Marketing, Product, Service, etc, to identify and get agreement on the national message categories that will form the foundation of the over all Sales Strategy & productivity Communications Strategy.
- Develop national and channel-specific messaging to create appropriate communications plans for each sales distribution channel.
- Develop and maintain project budget in line with overall unit budget guidelines.
- Consult, write or edit critical announcements, presentations, and speeches.
Nature and Scope
- Solutions require analysis and investigation.
- Achieves planned results by decisions and actions based on professional methods, business principles and practical experience.
- Manages a group or team of professional individual contributors and/or indirectly supervises support staff.
Work Environment
- Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
- Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
- Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.
Minimum Qualifications
- Must be eighteen years of age
- Must pass the Drug Test
- Must pass the Background Check
- Must pass pre-employment tests if applicable
Education and Experience
- Typically requires BS/BA in related discipline. Generally 7+ years experience in related field. May require certification. Advanced degree may offset less experience in some disciplines.
Preferred Qualifications & Job Specific Details:
- 5-7+ years of experience required.
- Experience in planning, evaluating, negotiating and managing media, marketing, and PR projects.
- Call center technology, SAP, Salesforce experience preferred.
- B2B Marketing experience required.
- Analytics, data driven marketing experience required.
- Supply Chain experience preferred.
- Technology background preferred.
- Consulting and/or agency background preferred.
