Centers for Family Medicine is a community-based practice of more than 20 Family Physicians, each trained with unique attitudes, skills and knowledge to provide superior medical care to the patient, as well as the patient’s entire family. From pediatric and adolescent care, to adult and senior health care, patients are provided with access to comprehensive and professional medical assistance through a network of local offices, urgent care centers, hospitals and 24 hr. on-call physician consultations. Â

***The Medical Assistant will work both the front and back office. Office hours are 8am-8pm M-F, and weekends***

Primary Responsibilities:
Work closely with physician assisting in chart, room preparation
Taking vitals, medicine reconciliation and assisting physician in minor procedures
Greet patients and visitors, answering or referring inquiries
Collect applicable fees due at time of service
Obtain authorizations
Make appointments
Requirements
Required Qualifications:
Current certification or registration through an accredited Medical Assistant School
Experience working as an MA in a physician’s office
Flexible to work overtime when needed, cover vacations and absences on scheduled days off
Computer proficiency; can type, create, edit, search web browsers, toggle between multiple screens, use Word, Outlook and navigate in a Windows environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
MA work experience in a pediatrics setting
