Purpose:

Layaway Associates are important ambassadors of the Burlington brand. You’ll interact with customers every day, providing world-class customer service with a friendly, professional, positive attitude. Layaway associates are responsible for accepting, storing and releasing layaway merchandise at the layaway desk while maintaining clean, well-organized, and clutter-free work and storage areas. You’ll play a major role in ensuring our customers enjoy their shopping experience at Burlington and keep coming back!

Responsibilities:

• Accept layaway merchandise and follow proper storage procedures
• Maintain an organized layaway desk
• Retrieve layaways in preparation of customer pick-up
• Ensure merchandise is returned to selling floor if layaway is cancelled
• Perform other tasks as assigned by manager from time-to-time

Candidates must be able to work a flexible schedule; including nights, weekends and holidays as required.
