Russo’s On The Bay in Howard Beach has provided exceptional food and the highest level of customer service to our clients since 1987. We are currently sourcing a Banquet Sales Consultant to work with our in-house sales team in generating additional revenue streams.

Job Description

Be our first point of contact with our potential clients

• Assist clientele including soon-to-be-brides, corporate event
  planners, non-profits and others in planning and creating their perfect event

• Perform follow up activities

• Assist clients with site visits and walk-throughs of the premises

• Deliver sales material and proposals

• Attend bridal expos and tradeshows as needed

• Attend weekly sales trainings and meetings

• Communicate regularly with potential clientele and clientele via
  phone, Email and meetings

• Service customers in person and by phone with existing parties,
  i.e., seatings, deposits, questions, etc.

• Have knowledge of all menus including ingredients and how prepared

• Knowledge of all pricing

• Handle paperwork associated with bookings

• Handle paperwork for existing party changes

• Must possess knowledge of computer

• Finalization of contracts

• Preparation of contract bills

• Phone calls to follow up of past parties

• Sales experience in hospitality industry req

• Superstar personality

• Driven to succeed

• Basic computer skills and capabilities

• Familiarity with hospitality, events, catering, or hospitality
  industry

• Passion for excellent customer service

• Natural ability to build rapport and create client relationships

• Desire to learn and grow in a dynamic, team-oriented organization
