The Product Sales and Services Supervisor will be responsible for delivering outstanding guest service.  He/She will supervise daily operations in one of many locations that may be responsible for selling tickets and passes and/or ski and snowboard school products to our guests. The Supervisor will maintain a professional, positive and supportive work environment that enables a strong cohesive team to ensure an “experience of a lifetime” for all guests. This is achieved through focus on quality control, training and staff performance through development and teamwork, communication, guest relations, administrative duties and self-development.  

Additional responsibilities will include, but aren't limited to:

  • Daily interaction with guests
  • Open and close ticket and pass offices: count location vaults and banks, plan station assignments for staff, monitor breaks and lunches, close stations and locations, drop station audit packs and bank deposits
  • Manage daily hours of individual staff members by assisting with schedules and ensuring that no labor is wasted based on business volume
  • Provide on-going job performance feedback, coaching and training to staff
  • Create a fun, positive and supportive work environment
  • Communicate and educate staff about all new information, lead morning meetings
  • Complete mid-season and end of season performance appraisals for staff members
  • Assist with new hire training and continual training for new policies and procedures as they are revised throughout the season
  • Enter time and labor for staff members
  • Ordering of change and office supplies to ensure that the offices are fully stocked
  • High visibility with guests and staff
  • Good problem solving and decision making skills
  • Data Entry and processing of guest information and documents, verifying information and reviewing various reports
  • Other duties as assigned

    Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent - required
  • At least 2 years guest service experience - required
  • At least 1 year supervisory experience - preferred
  • At least 1 year cash handling experience - required
  • Computer Experience (Windows XP, Excel, Microsoft Word proficiency) - required
  • Fluent in all aspects of English - required (Spanish speaking a plus)
  • Ability to professionally and tactfully interact and communicate with guests, staff and other departments
  • Ability to multi-task, use personal judgment and utilize strong decision making skills
  • Point of Sale experience - preferred
  • Good organizational skills
  • Interview either in person or via Skype - preferred
  • Position may be subject to a background check

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs - required
