JOB SUMMARY All aspects of bottling line operations, to include proactive and reactive maintenance to minimize downtime, basic troubleshooting and problem solving, preventive maintenance and changeovers, machine tear down/repair and assemble, and strong team interaction to support production goals.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

* Proactive maintenance to minimize equipment downtime

* Reactive maintenance on production lines to recover from component failure

* Creative problem solving to perform equipment improvements

* Repair mechanical, electrical, and structural components

* Create retrofits and fabrication as needed

* Machine tear down/repair and assembly

* Planning of preventative maintenance and project work

* Creation and completion of SAP reports, including work orders

* Strong communication skills with others with the ability to coach others

* Provide break relief to Production Techs

* Safely operate forklift, scissor lift and boom truck

* Work on Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), and

electric motors

* Adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)

* Maintain the cleanliness of the work areas and all associated equipment

* Cross train on all production and support equipment

* Ability to work off shifts, weekends, holidays and overtime as needed

GENERAL EMPLOYEE FOOD SAFETY REQUIREMENTS

* Must understand that Nestle's Carlisle Factory is a food plant and, because of this, in everything we make, he/she has an obligation to produce safe, legal and wholesome products.

* Must understand the Food Safety Policy and that we operate under a specific Food Safety Management System. This means that employee must follow all our procedures exactly as written.

* Report any food safety issue or potential issue to management.

* Must attend any required food safety training (general or specific) and, if required, pass a competency test.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS

* High school diploma or equivalent

* Four or more years of previous production line maintenance experience

* Prior experience in a high speed clean manufacturing environment preferred, prior food, hot fill beverage or pharmaceutical experience a plus

* Strong mechanical and electrical skills with a strong understanding of equipment troubleshooting and repair

* Computer navigation skills, to include Microsoft Office applications

* SAP and Datapass or equivalent system experience preferred

* Prior forklift, scissor lift, or boom truck experience or the ability to be trained

* Strong communication and teamwork skills and ability to work self-directed

* Sense of urgency with an attention to detail and safety

* Comfort with operating in a challenging, fast paced environment

* Able to lift 50 lbs
