Entry Snowmaking – PT and FT Seasonal

Mt. Brighton Snowmaking Team is looking for enthusiastic and outdoor oriented individuals to spend the winter outside in this alpine paradise with us.  Snowmakers will produce machine made snow, while striving for quality, safety, and efficiency to ensure an exceptional experience for our guests.  Snowmakers of all levels will assist in the production of a suitable snow surface by utilizing snow guns and snow transportation vehicles. 

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for assisting the crew leader in preparation and operation of snowmaking systems
• Conduct visual inspections and routine maintenance of snow guns and hoses
• Set up and break down of snowmaking equipment
• Operate trucks, snowmobiles, and or ATV’s in a safe and efficient manner
• Will be required to work outside in all weather conditions
• Will be required to work weekends and holidays
• Work as part of a team to complete tasks
• Other duties as assigned

 

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least one to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Preferred.
• Mechanical and hydraulic knowledge.  Preferred.
• Must be able to lift 75 lbs and carry up to 50 lbs
• Must be fluent in English.
• Valid drivers license or able to obtain one.
• Must be willing to work weekends and holidays
• Must be willing to climb towers without a fear of heights
