Job Summary:
The Maintenance Mechanic / Electrician II performs highly diversified duties to install and maintain production machines, plant equipment and facilities. Will engineer and build repair equipment as necessary.
Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
* Ability to read complex schematics, electrical and electronic drawings
* Ability to troubleshoot PLC ladder logic, control power and CNC equipment
* Competent in all level II electrical tasks/requirements
* Work facility maintenance and outside on minor landscaping projects
* Willingness to learn lead responsibilities/tasks as assigned by management
* Strong competencies in electrical and mechanical technology
* Basic computer knowledge, ability to use work request and inventory management software
* Be proficient at installing conduits of different materials and installing electrical components from 120V to 480V
* Installing electric motors and motor controls circuits (120V-480V)
This positon will require:
* Lifting up to 40 pounds
* Climbing ladders
* Working at heights
* Working in a typical manufacturing environment, with exposure to humid environment and airborne particles
This position may require:
* Working overtime
* Weekend work
* Working holidays as need
* Short notice shift coverage
Basic Qualifications:
* Possess a High School Diploma/GED or higher
* Minimum five (5) years of experience as a Maintenance Mechanic/ Electrician OR possess or within the last six (6) months of obtaining a two (2) year certificate, degree or diploma or higher in an Electrical field
Preferred Qualifications:
* Expertise in both electrical and mechanical technology
