Course Grinder

Position: Course Grinder

Responsibilities :

Start Up:

1. Be ready to set up room by 6:30am
2. Ensure all dumpers are down and ready to be loaded
3. Assemble course grinders and TVP grinder if needed
4. Start grinding before 7:00am

Operation:

1. Keep hoppers 1 & 2 full at all times
2. Disassemble and reassemble for blade check during the middle of the shift
3. Assist grinding/blending crews #1 and/or 2 if needed
4. Course Grinder/ TVP Operators 1 & 2 need to assist each other
5. When running EB0409 CG/TVP #1 runs east course grinder while CG/TVP #2 runs west course grinder
6. When running EB0227/EP0209 CG/TVP #1 runs both course grinders while CG/TVP #2 runs TVP blender
7. Follow GMP, personal, and food safety regulations

Break Down:

1. Break down designated equipment
2. Cover all sensitive screens
3. Ensure no excess inedible on ground
4. Perform dry pick-up

**Give help and perform other duties wherever it may be needed across the plant
