FIELD SERVICE TECHNICIAN - SAN JOSE, CA
A Packaging company located in the KanSan Jose, CA area is seeking a Field Service Technician to interview and start immediately on a full time basis.
Service Technicians play an integral role in their overall team effort and their key job responsibilities include the installation, repair, maintenance, and management of Packaging Systems / Equipment. In addition to assisting with the equipment needs of their customers, it is the responsibility of Field Service Technicians to effectively communicate with company Systems Administrators, Regional and Account Managers, and customers about technical and non-technical information regarding their equipment.
REQUIREMENTS
2+ years of experience in Field Service Role
Minimum of an Associates Degree
4 to 5 nights a month with approx 3500 miles/mo
Good mechanical troubleshooting, calibration, and maintenance skills, some electrical aptitude
Excellent communication skills (oral AND written)
Computer skills MS Windows
Excellent customer service skills and the ability to train personnel on equipment use
Base salary + company car with gas card + annual performance bonus potential + laptop computer + Smartphone when permanent.
