Sodexo's Health Care Division is seeking an Environmental Services Custodial Operations Manager 3 to oversee Environmental / Custodial Services for a 350 bed, Shady-Grove Hospital non-union facility located in Rockville, MD. This is an day opportunity. Supervison of ES Management and Staff for a 350 Bed Acute Care Hospital, 56 Bed Rehab facility, Behavioral Health Facility, and Cancer Center.

 

In this job, the Assistant Director of Housekeeping or Operations Manager 3 will lead, develop, and train a team of 100 hospital employees. This hands-on Manager will ensure consistency in day to day operational functions including employee relations, safety, training and unit operating systems compliance. Responsibilities will include some hands on training and development of the staff,  strategic planning, and some client interaction. The Operations Manager is highly involved in driving HCAHPS and press ganey scores and overall patient satisfaction.

 

The successful candidate will ideally have at least 3 years prior management experience in Environmental Services in a hospital or healthcare environment with proven skills in:

 

  • Customer Service - Ability to enhance and improve the experience of the staff and patients
  • Diversity Awareness
  • Communication - Ability to lead and communicate effectively
  • Compliance and Documentation
  • Ability to build strong client relationships
  • Ability to utilize TRAKKAR, Bedtracking, FOSS, CARES
  • Need to floor care, carpet care, resident cleaning
  • Linen processing and distribution experience is needed.

Position Summary

Provides supervision for custodial services at account/unit to ensure client satisfaction and retention for the Company. Implements business practices in order to uphold Company mission and values. Contributes to account revenue and operating profit contribution through the implementation of services and creation of opportunities for growth.

 

 

Qualifications & Requirements
