Customer Service / Dispatcher – McHenry – Full Time Day and Evening Hours Available!

Full Time Hours:     8:00 am - 4:30 pm and 1:30 pm –10:00 pm (two separate schedules)

Pay: $14/hour

Job Summary: Reputable and Growing Service Company in Crystal Lake is looking to add a Customer Representative – Call Taker/Dispatcher to their team. This position is primarily responsible for providing customer service over the phone to obtain complete and accurate information while assisting customers in a timely manner. The position also includes various administrative duties.

Customer Service / Dispatcher duties:

• Answer inbound phone calls to schedule jobs and handle customer service inquiries.
• Schedule and coordinated all service calls as calls are received.
• Dispatch service technicians efficiently
• Maintain dispatch board
• Maintain customer history files in database
• Accurately maintain technician working schedule
• Initiate outbound phone calls for scheduling of service calls.
• Handle various customer inquiries and requests efficiently and accurately.
• Perform a variety of administrative duties as requested by your direct supervisor
• High interaction with service technicians and various customers from residential to commercial.

Customer Service / Dispatcher Requirements:

• High school diploma
• Minimum of 3 years relevant work experience in a service industry
• Good understanding of Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel & Outlook
• Strong verbal communication and computer skills are a must
• Plumbing & HVAC Service industry experience a plus
