Entry level assembly position available with a great company in Richmond, IL! No previous experience required.
We are looking for energetic, detail oriented assemblers for 1st and 2nd shift at a well-known and respected Employer in Richmond, IL. This position is a temp to hire opportunity that could turn into a permanent position with this company! If you have a positive attitude, and are able to work with small electrical components, this position may be for you!
Assembler Responsibilities include but not limited to the following:
- Cut, straighten, and strip wire
- Lead wire prep, assembly of connectors and electrical plugs
- Resistance weld, spot weld, solder
Assembler Qualifications:
- Flexible attitude and ability to be cross trained in multiple departments
- Would prefer manufacturing experience in an electronics environment but will train for the right candidates.
- HS or GED Equivalent
- Ability to work with small electronic components.
- Ability to accurately use a ruler
- Ability to read and follow instruction sheets
- Ability to fluently speak, read, and write English

Hours:
1st shift: Monday - Friday | 7:00 am - 3:30 pm
2nd shift: Monday - Friday | 3:30 pm-12:00 am
Occasional overtime both mandatory and available
Pay: $9.25 - 10.25/hr, depending on shift.
Potential of $0.75 increase after 90 days with wage progression evaluation.
All Express Associates will have a performance review and possible pay increase if employed at 90 days with this client.
