Primary Responsibilities:



Interact with customers gathering support data to ensure invoice accuracy and also work through specific billing discrepancies

Provide input to policies, systems, methods, and procedures for the effective management and control of the premium billing function

Educate customers regarding the availability of receiving invoices and remitting payments through online applications

Monitor outstanding balances and take appropriate actions to ensure clients pay as billed.

Manage the preparation of invoices and complete reconciliation of billing with accounts receivables

May also include quality assurance and audit of billing activities

Experience in Medical and Pharmacy benefit verification.

Experience in billing and collections of claims.

This function is responsible for medical and ancillary product premium billing.

Requirements

Required Qualifications:




High School Diploma/GED

Monday - Friday  flexible between 7:00 am - 7:00 pm

2+ years of customer service experience analyzing and solving customer problems

2+ years of experience  Windows PC applications (printing, document saving) and Excel (filters, sorting)

ICD9/IDC10 experience

1+ year of working experience multi-tasking to include working on multiple products and multiple levels of benefits within each product

1+ year medical collections experience

1+ year medical billing experience

Insurance terminology including insurance forms knowledge

Preferred Qualifications:



Associates or Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) in Business or Accounting

1+ year of experience in SharePoint

2+ years medical billing experience

2+ years medical collections experience

Physical Requirements and Work Environment:



Frequent speaking, listening using a headset, sitting, use of hands/fingers across keyboard or mouse, handling other objects, long periods working at a computer
Service center environment with moderate noise level due to Representatives talking, computers, printers, and floor activity
Soft Skill:


Ability to remain focused and productive each day though tasks may be repetitive
