Supply Chain Specialist - Full-time / Part-time

Candidate needed to support large project. This project is scheduled through December 2017 so it will be long term temporary work.

Requirements:
- 2+ years purchasing experience
- Experience working with MRP system (preferably QAD/MfgPro)
- Strong excel skills

Duties:
* Places PO's and Returns with suppliers under the direction of Supply Base Managers, including entry in MRP system and supplier notification.
* Prepares Requests for Quote and tracking quotes when received back from suppliers
* Maintains purchasing files
* Expedites urgent and past due PO's
* Assists with New Supplier Approval Process-Familiarity with PPAP process would be beneficial
* Places releases against blanket orders
* Assists with obtaining and entry of Item Data into MRP system
* Assists with plant layout for purchased components
