Aerotek's client has a need for 2 Maintenance Technicians to start immediately for a position in Sterling, VA.
The mechanic is responsible for repairing Air Cargo Unit Load Devices (ULDs) and aircraft galley carts, this position will mostly be focused on galley carts which are composed of aluminum. The Mechanics will identify repairs needed, remove and replace sections, apply patches using screws and rivets, document repairs. First 3 months will be all training, at the end will be able to sign off their repair work.
Shift: 1st; 6a-3p
Pay: $12/hr.
Duration: 6 month contract-to-hire
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with power tools or warehouse experience is highly preferred.
- 1 year mechanical repair experience
- Willingness to learn and be successful
- Team player
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs with or without reasonable accommodation.
