Assembler

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; twist or bend, stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee frequently is required to walk, talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 70 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

1. Uses a variety of hand tools and basic production equipment to prepare components for assembly.
2. Assembles repetitive products.
3. Spray paints and packages products.
4. Assists upper level assemblers in cleaning, organizing and maintaining the work areas and equipment.
5. Actively participates in company-sponsored training programs.
6. Completes additional duties and projects as assigned.
