Maintenance Helper

One of my clients in Columbus, Oh is looking to add a Maintenance Helper in a long term opportunity with a very reputable company in the area. The starting pay ranges from $11-12/hr. depending on experience. Below are a few of the key qualifications they are looking for:

• Reliability
• Ability to Hold a Job for More than a Few Months at a Time

Job Description:

• Ability to move baggage from default pier and deliver to appropriate airline pier or make-up unit.
• Complete computer entries and paperwork appropriate for tasks performed.
• Assists Technicians with preventative maintenance which includes cleaning and applying lubrication to system components, and general housekeeping in the work area.
• Performs walkthroughs and alerts Technicians of any issues
• Monitors system displays for active alarms/faults and dispatches technicians to faulted area.
• Responsible for clearing baggage jams on the system.
• May be responsible for moving baggage tubs to and from the bag room to various locations within the assigned work area.
• You will learn how to perform the tasks that are required and will have the potential to move into maintenance role down the road if they have the right aptitude
