COMMERCIAL GROUNDSKEEPER - Full-time / Part-time

GENERAL DESCRIPTION

The Commercial Groundskeeper position is responsible for the upkeep and trash removal on all assigned

Commercial properties to include parking lots, store fronts and grounds

WORK EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

 HS Diploma or equivalent preferred

 Ability to read and interpret documents (as applicable)

 Possess good verbal communication skills

 Must have a valid driver's license and good driving record

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Drive Company Vehicle to perform the following:

1. Clean up litter;
2. Regularly manage trash removal from the commercial properties;
3. Maintain landscape and curb appeal (i.e., weed eating and spraying weed killer);
4. Maintain equipment and tools needed to perform daily tasks;
5. Perform seasonal duties as needed, such as leaf-raking, mulch replacement; snow and ice removal;
6. Must be detail oriented, with considerable attention to property curb appeal;
7. Work well in a team or alone, in all weather conditions;
8. Perform heavy physical labor on a daily basis;
9. Able to work overtime, weekends, holidays as needed;
10. Represent the company in a professional manner at all times-on/off property.
11. Performs any additional duties assigned by the manager.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

- The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 lbs

- The employee is regularly exposed to outside weather in all conditions

- The employee may be exposed to chemicals used in the process of performing the scope of their duties­­­­­
