SUMMARY:

Are you an Engineer who understands Power Electronics Design? Do you know the electronic component marketplace?

The successful Applications Engineer will provide technical support to the outside sales team, customers, and internal staff. In this role you will build customer relations at a technical level to gain further insight to direction and needs of the customer.

During customer visits, you are expected to achieve design-ins, identify needs for new products, and be alert to competitive products. While interacting with customers you will present technical advantages and solutions for integrating products and assist customers on troubleshooting circuits, and ensure speedy and thorough resolution of problems.

You will provide internal and external training, guidance on implementation of company products to internal personnel and to the sales team.

QUALIFICATIONS:

The selected candidate will be experienced in design, application and technical support of power electronic products, and meet the following requirements:
  • DC to DC power supply design experience required.
  • 2+ years hands-on experience in design engineering or applications engineering
  • BSEE from an accredited school required
  • Circuit board layout knowledge
  • Experience with vector network analyzers and automated test programming
  • Excellent troubleshooting, analysis and problem solving skills
  • Ability to travel 35% - domestic and potentially international
