Hiring for a Purchasing Associate.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES

  • Purchase parts, equipment, materials, and services by soliciting and awarding informal quotes.
  • Place orders against existing contracts or approved requisitions.
  • Assist in tracking assets by tagging, recording, maintaining files, and assisting with disposals.
  • Assist in preparation of formal solicitation by gathering usage requirements and preparing requisitions and related documentation.
  • Coordinate the purchasing process by providing information and assistance regarding status updates and purchasing policies and procedures.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • At least 2 years of purchasing experience, preferably in a healthcare environment
