Overview:
Greets guests with a friendly and honest smile and presents a professional approach to the guest. Run the cash register and seats guests to table of their choosing. Maintains a high level of guest service and guest relations.
Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent guest service at all times.
- Greet and thank guests for dining in the Buffet.
- Operate register including accurately handling of all transactions and money.
- Maintain the server rotation.
- Notify servers where to seat guests.
- Seat guests when needed.
- Restock rolled silverware.
- Check V.I.P. cards against list.
- Answer telephone.
- Validate coupons thru computer.
- Keep record of guests per server.
- Rewrite menu board for next meal.
- Take care of team member plates and bowls.
- Help server’s clean tables or roll silverware when necessary.
- Shut down computer at end of shift.
- Count bank and take to cage.

Qualifications:
- 1 year cash handling experience preferred.
- Able to lift/move heavy items such as containers of trash and dishes.
- Must be able to tolerate being on your feet for the duration of shift.
