Growing job shop in Milwaukee County, WI is in need of a strong 5-axis CNC programmer/operator with working knowledge of DMG Mori and WorkNC experience to lead the work flow in that cell.

Candidates must have minimum 3 years experience on a 5-axis machine.

If you are a reliable, independent thinker that likes custom detail work, this is a position for you. An average work week is 50-55 hours.

Following are the job accountabilities:
Proficient in the development 5-axis ability to program and operate the DMG Mori machine.
Post program(s) from any programming station.
Document CNC processes for the parts being programmed.
Ability to program basic 2D programs with the current software; 3D and 5-axis parts in Work NC.
Ability to work with models and 2D geometry in tandem to program a part.
Ability to model and rework models in our programming software.
Assist Project Managers to provide time studies/hour budgets for complex 3 or 5-axis components to helps complete their quotes.
Assist in development and implementation of procedures and controls to promote efficient lean operations of the organization and ensure the groups follow those procedures and controls.
Ability and understanding of how to double check a program after it s completed.
Knowledge to manually write a program at the machine controls.
Ability to program with a tooling ball.

Ability to multi-task a few jobs.
Ensure the completion of all paperwork, records, documents, etc.
Able to work overtime when requested to meet the needs of customer timelines.
Follow all clean up and housekeeping procedures.
Comply with all quality, safety, and sanitation regulations.
Support ISO 9001, LEAN manufacturing and 5S practices.
