JOB SUMMARY
The Dir, Product Engineering directs the activities of a highly cross-functional group of engineering and development teams; mentors the team to enhance a culture of professional development and excellence.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Inspires Engineering and Development teams to perform beyond their individual potential

Engages with peers in Operations and Engineering in a highly collaborative manner to support and drive ongoing improvements in product lifecycle management in an agile development environment

Develops and facilitates relationships within and across the organization and communicates key issues

Acts as a change agent to drive continuous improvement

Provides clear and challenging technical direction and professional development goals for team

Ensures alignment between the business operational strategies and technical solutions


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Related Work Experience 8-10 Years, Leadership experience 5+
Strong experience managing a team of developers
Proven leadership, mentoring and coaching skills
Strong team and relationship building skills
Ability to think strategically and anticipate future trends, needs and expectations
Strong analytic, organizational, and problem solving skills
Ability to analyze data and develop and present data driven reports
Ability to document, prepare and present executive level presentations
Ability to successfully multi-task in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
Agile development experience (Scrum required, Scale Agile Framework preferred 5+
Experience with technologies across networking, operating systems, storage, backups, cloud, and virtualization
Strong understanding of product development processes
Experience leveraging automation to ensure consistent delivery and efficiency
Preferred experience with Cisco and Microsoft – including O365 and Azure, Zerto, CommVault and VMware

Education
Bachelor's degree or equivalent training, education and experience
Master’s degree preferred

Normal office environment
Travel 20-40%
