Oakwood Worldwide has an immediate opening for a customer service professional who can make our lobby feel like home to our guests in our Downtown Chicago property. In this Concierge role you will act as a resource and time saver to clients and internal staff by offering an array of services. These services provide an added "Extra" benefit to residents and also serve to support the work of other office and support staff.

CONCIERGE | LOBBY | CUSTOMER SERVICE

This is a Part-Time, On-Call Concierge position which offers 8-10 hours a week and includes weekends.

This position may offer more than the 8-10 hours a week as noted above as a result of being on-call to cover additional shifts on short notice.

Work Location: 210 North Wells, Chicago, IL 60606

Schedule: Sundays 7 am to 3 pm

On-Call during weekdays and able to work any shift as listed below:

1st Shift: 7 am to 3 pm

2nd Shift: 3 pm to 11 pm

3rd Shift: 11 pm to 7 am

Daily Responsibilities Include:

  • Provide guests with information on: babysitters, travel and trip planning; medical referrals, exercise trainers, entertainment suggestions
  • Arrange dining reservations
  • Move guests in at check-in; detailing property and unit features
  • Coordinate all package deliveries to and from the clients
  • Receive and process work orders
  • Display positive and energized personality and behaviors that demonstrate a can do attitude
  • Assist with key management and other administrative duties related to record keeping and service follow up
  • Meet perspective clients and provide tours and assistance
  • Participate in apartment walks and inspections for quality assurance
  • To be considered candidates must be flexible to work any day of the week, including weekends as the schedule will rotate.

Successful candidates will possess the following:

  • Travel Knowledge for getting around Chicago i.e. taxis, subway, airport transport, etc.
  • 2+ years administrative or customer service experience preferably in a Hospitality environment
  • Exceptional customer service skills in face to face and phone interactions
  • Professional verbal and written communication
  • MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Positive and energized personality that demonstrates a "can do attitude"
  • Available to work in downtown Chicago including weekends.
  • Part-time 8-10 hours a week
