About this job
We are a stable, growing 75 year old fire protection company that is seeking service technicians. Responsibilities consist of inspecting, servicing and maintaining fire extinguishers, fire suppression systems, emergency lights and fire hoses. Prior fire protection industry experience preferred, but not required.
If you have a mechanical aptitude and are a people person, we want to talk to you! Candidates must have the following skills: Communication and customer service skills.
- Must be able to work overtime, occasional weekends, and on call.
- Valid driver license, clear criminal background checks and drug test.
- Knowledge of hand tools, including electric and battery powered equipment.
- Ability to work independantly and in a team environment
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 75 pounds.
- Ability to on ladders and in all types of environments.
