Hours: Seasonal Part Time
General Summary: Camp counselors implement daily schedule, guide spontaneous activities and supervise children ages 4 - 14 participating in the camp program. They are responsible for the personal care, safety and discipline of the children. Camp Counselors also maintain proper staff child ratios and know all emergency procedures.
Qualifications: Minimum of three months of experience supervising children ages 4 - 14 preferably in group activities. CPR certification. High School diploma or some education relating to early educational development preferred, but not required. Problem solving ability, creative inclination, and innovative thinker. Customer service oriented. No criminal convictions. Good organizational skills.Ability to be around children 24 hours a day. High levels of enthusiasm and energy. Preferred First Aid, Lifeguard or WSI Certifications in addition to CPR.
