Line Server

As a Line Server, your top priority is serving great tasting food to customers, in accordance with Mama Margie’s standards. You must learn how to prepare each menu item and have pride in making every plates presentation perfect. Your duties include but are not limited to, preparing orders for customers, handling simple customer requests in a polite manner, restocking the serving line as needed, washing dishes and helping out in other positions as needed. You must following all sanitation and safety standards. You must be dependable, have good customer service skills, able to work in a fast paced environment and handle multiple tasks at one time, able to work harmoniously with other employees, able to read (with or without corrective lenses) order tickets, and able to work weekends and holidays including Christmas. This position also requires, by way of example only, the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, being able to stand up to 8 hours in length, use motion that entails pushing, pulling, bending, stretching and continuous use of fingers and wrists, and the ability to tolerate extreme kitchen temperatures at times.

6 am-2pm

2 pm-10pm

10 pm-6am

Born in July 1993 on the south side of San Antonio, Texas, Mama Margie’s began as a fast casual restaurant named after Margie Lopez Abonce. Margie helped create our menu with recipes she learned from her mother and grandmother in Allende, Mexico.  Customers came to know and love Margie’s smile and delicious meals. Our Mama Margie’s concept has grown to three locations in San Antonio and one in Schertz, Texas. Margie’s recipes are still the foundation of our menu today.  We continue to be family owned and operated.

Our philosophy has not changed since 1993. Our passion continues to be serving great tasting, homemade Mexican Food prepared with the highest quality and freshest ingredients.
