Data Entry Clerk

AEROTEK is seeking to hire 5 Data Entry/Customer Support Specialists for a client in Gainesville, VA. This role is a hybrid role combining 70% Data Entry and 30% Customer Support over the phone.

Job Description:

AEROTEK's client company is a nationwide leading electronic security systems provider. As a result of recent acquisitions, AEROTEK's client has been tasked with converting existing security panels at their client's locations (large retail stores i.e. Pet Co, Gap, Banana Republic, CVS, KB Toys, Tiffany Jewelers, etc.) to their internal software. This is done by changing the codes that communicate from the existing company's servers to their own servers which are based in Gainesville. The representative will contact the store to get the required information from the Store Manager and then remotely re-program the panels. Training will be provided for this role. Prior experience working with electronics is required for this position (i.e. prior experience working at Best Buy, Verizon, AT&T, Radio Shack, etc. OR prior IT education experience in college.). Must be comfortable working on a split-screen monitor set up and communicating with clients over the phone.

Shift: Monday-Friday Day Shift

Duration: 3-6+ months w/ potential to go permanent
