Description

At Dr Pepper Snapple, we work together to create brands people love. You will contribute to the Financial Services team by identifying, addressing, and correcting process deficiencies within AP. The AP Verifier will be responsible for verifying and routing invoices and work closely with the AP teams to route problem invoices or to reject invoices for non-compliance. The AP Verifier will serve as the key contact to meet daily operational SLAs for invoice routing and critical field verification.

Accountability:
  • Verification of critical invoice fields and routing of Non PO invoices
  • Verification of critical invoice fields and attempt to post clean PO invoices or route to proper problem solving queue
  • Reject invoices for noncompliance to company policy
  • Route non invoice statements to proper queue
  • Manage workload to meet daily SLA invoice metric targets and participate in ad-hoc special projects as required


Skills:
  • Must have good verbal and written communication skills that will allow them to express key points in a clear manner.
  • Must be able to meet tight deadlines and possess excellent organizational and research skills.
  • Must possess the ability to work with minimal direction when necessary to support the group’s objectives and possess high attention to detail, and accuracy, within a high-volume work environment.
  • Good PC skills, with proficiency in various computer applications (flexible and sophisticated enough to work with any accounting system), and MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook). .
  • Experience with SAP or Esker is a plus. The aforementioned experience may come from a multitude of sources, with preference given to experience in a fast-paced consumer product, manufacturing, food service, or a public accounting background.
  • Experience with Account Payable processing and knowledge of PO 3 way matching


Qualifications

  • High School diploma / GED with 2 years of experience in an AP role.
  • 1 year experience in an AP role.
  • 1 year experience 10-keying or typing.
