Production Maintenance Forklift Technician

Duties

• Responsible for all repairs and preventative maintenance on all Powered Equipment, including on-board lift computers and controls.·
• Organize and prioritize daily activities for Power Equipment repair and preventative maintenance.
• Provide direction to forklift repair vendors.
• Provide direction to and oversee work of Tech II’s.
• Perform all maintenance duties as requested.
• Work flexible hours and overtime as needed.
• Legibly maintain daily documentation.
• Closely manage parts inventories

Qualifications

• 3-5 years’ experience with forklift repairs on CAT, CROWN, YALE and RAYMOND forklifts. Previous experience with wire guidance is required.
• Skilled and proficient in diagnosing electronic malfunctions.
• Skilled and proficient in diagnosing electrical malfunctions.
• Skilled and proficient in diagnosing on board computer malfunctions.
• Must be able to work with minimum supervision.
• Knowledgeable with all documentation associated with preventative maintenance and repairs.
• Possesses excellent communication skills verbal and written.
• Possesses good computer skills.
• Possess a working knowledge of all hand and power tools.
• Must possess a Class “E” driver license.
• Must pass a company paid drug screen
