We have a large national client that is looking for a Medical Technologist.
Job Description: ï‚·
Responsible for daily laboratory testing in areas of chemistry, hematology, immunohematology, serology, coagulation and urinalysis ï‚·
Able to use proper tools and judgment to obtain optimum specimens
Able to define and maintain the standards of laboratory testing according to established CLIA and COLA guidelines
ï‚·
Able to obtain blood specimens using venipuncture and capillary collections from patients of all ages in hospital, clinic, and outpatient situations
Responsible for verifying quality control data ï‚·
ï‚·
Responsible for answering phone calls, restocking and ordering of lab supplies, routine cleaning of work areas, and maintenance of equipment
