A reputable company in the Medford area is in search of a HR Generalist:
Job Description:
- Provide execution that attracts, trains, and retains employees
- Support company initiatives such as their management and leadership principles and their HR market business strategy.
- Ensure the culture & working environment is open, empowering, fair and equitable.
- Establish and maintain effective win-win working relationships with (and between) managers, employees and the union (where applicable).
- Handle investigations when required.
Work Environment:
The team consists of 2 HR generalists, 1 HR representative, and 1 payroll specialist who all report directly to the HR manager. There are 400 hourly employees at this plant; 65 are salary and the rest are Union.
Qualifications:
Must:
- Associates Degree
- 3+ years of experience as an HR Generalist
- Experience in Microsoft Office programs
- Experience in an HRIS system
