A reputable company in the Medford area is in search of a HR Generalist:

Job Description:

  • Provide execution that attracts, trains, and retains employees
  • Support company initiatives such as their management and leadership principles and their HR market business strategy.
  • Ensure the culture & working environment is open, empowering, fair and equitable.
  • Establish and maintain effective win-win working relationships with (and between) managers, employees and the union (where applicable).
  • Handle investigations when required.

Work Environment:

The team consists of 2 HR generalists, 1 HR representative, and 1 payroll specialist who all report directly to the HR manager. There are 400 hourly employees at this plant; 65 are salary and the rest are Union.

Qualifications:

Must:

  • Associates Degree
  • 3+ years of experience as an HR Generalist
  • Experience in Microsoft Office programs
  • Experience in an HRIS system
