MUST HAVES:
3+ years experience in a direct customer contact, service, collections, locan workout or sales environment or related financial experience.
HS Diploma
- Responsible for reviewing and adjusting collection portfolios which require special handling or analysis to reduce delinquent/problem loans within framework of company or investor guidelines.
- Functions may include: spreading financial statements; analyzing credit/account information; monitoring adherence to terms of agreement; corresponding with customers; skip tracing; handling workout and restructuring of problem loans; restructuring payment plans; recovering charged-off loans; may assist in filing legal actions and following up on liquidation of secured property and payment adjustments; analyze account equity to determine foreclosure status. May conduct research and determine resolution for title/collateral perfection issues.
- May include title claim filing to recover losses
- Financial background will be sufficient, doesnt necessarily need to come from a mortgage background but mortgage would be a no brainer.
- If a candidate has Processing or Closing experience, that is ideal.
- They will work directly with the Agents to obtain all necessary documents to decision short sale.
- The candidates may also be tracking down things such as tax reports, W2's or bank statements.
- Hours can be 7am-4pm or 8am-5pm.
- Training is a combination of side by side (1 week) and classroom training (more for systems training which is about a week as well).
- Soft skills: attention to detail, positive attitude, promptness, attendance, independent worker
