• We have an opening for a full-time DISPATCHER position.
• Location: Texas A&M-Tarleton, 503 N. Neblett, Stephenville, TX 76401. Note: online applications accepted only.
• Schedule: Open availability for 11:30pm - 7:30am, including weekends.
• Requirement: Experience in basic computer knowledge / phone use / multi-tasking / professional attitude.

Summary: Coordinates and monitors activities through timely, accurate dispatch and management of customer transportation requests.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provides quality customer service to customers by providing one-on-one attention to detail.
• Determines, explains and develops dispatcher logic and transporter activities.
• Directs the activity of the transport function and transporters, ensuring timely completion of tasks. Monitors procedures related to availability and completion task, and follows up on issues related to service and operations.
• Ensures requests have been addressed in an efficient, timely manner according to current departmental standards, priorities and patient appointments.
• Assigns, collects and distributes pagers. Monitors daily sign-in/out procedures.
• Develops and promotes positive customer service relationships with patients, patient family members, visitors and staff. Ensures accurate, timely dispatch of transport requests. Ensures maximum staff productivity.
• Resolves problems related to patient, visitor, staff or employee complaints. Recommends solutions for ongoing or recurring issues.Answers calls for information during the hours that the University offices are closed.
• Receives and responds to HVAC, fire, security, and other alarms.
• Responsible for contacting Counseling Center if requested by TSU Police Dept. or Stephenville Police Dept./Emergency Medical Service.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
