Patient Care Coordinator- Per Diem - Manhasset, NY

Primary Responsibilities:
Register patients according to the department policy and procedures.Verifies all financial/insurances information and charge into appropriate system.keep abreast of current insurance regulations in order to provide assistance to patients-Maintains current knowledge base.Enter patient information into appropriate system.

Required Qualifications:


High School Diploma/GED
Candidates must be able to travel approximately 50% of the time within Manhasset and Great Neck, NY.
Candidates must be able to work a planned Per Diem work schedule, with no guaranteed hours. However, when needed; the position calls for the availability to work between 8:00 am – 6:00 pm, Monday through Friday.
1+ year of insurance reimbursement and financial verification experience.
Intermediate
proficiency with Windows PC applications, which includes the ability to
learn new and complex computer system applications.
Must be able to accommodate 6 weeks of training, between the hours of 8 AM and 6 PM.
Preferred Qualifications:

Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish.
Some college experience.
