General Manager 1 - Environmental Services / Custodial - Full-time

Sodexo is currently seeking an Environmental Services / Custodial General Manager 1 for Cumberland Medical Center located in Crossville, TN. The successful candidate will oversee the entire ES operation for the hospital managing a team of 25 employees. The ideal candidate should have previous Sodexo Manager custodial or housekeeping experience in a hospital or healthcare environment. Proven results in positively impacting HCAHPS and patient satisfaction, superior interpersonal skills and a track record of being highly integrated with the ability to build relationships throughout the organizations they have previously worked at is a must. Must have experience with Joint Commission inspections and be completely familiar with all regulations governing hospitals, to include biohazard waste and pharmaceutical waste. This position will lead a staff of front-line hourly employees, and will report directly to the District Manager.  Also, a proven Sodexo background with our UOS (Unit Operating Systems), TRAKKAR, ENGAGE, FOSS, CARES and demonstrated organized leadership style and drive for results.  Will need to hold all employees and management team members accountable for results on a daily basis to be successful in this role.   

You will need to have exceptional communication, unit financial, interpersonal and technical skills are necessary. This individual must have good knowledge of Sodexo EVS operating systems.  Overall, will need to motivate hourly staff and maintain cleaning quality to a very high level. Driving client engagement and patient/employee satisfaction is essential for the success of this role. Additionally, the ideal candidate for this position will have prior experience in successfully achieving consistent, high levels of customer satisfaction with patients, visitors, staff and multiple key clients. The selected candidate will also need to have the ability to hardwire systems in order to ensure a sustained effort of achieving standards and she/he must be diligent with follow through and visibility within the hospital.

Sodexo is currently seeking a dynamic General Manager 1, Environmental Services at Cumberland Medical Center located in Crossville, TN a 170 bed facility.  Cumberland Medical Center is an acute care hospital.

The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years previous experience at the General Manager/Director level with custodial/housekeeping experience in a hospital with proven ability to drive HCAHPS, Employee Satisfaction and meet Productivity and Patient Throughput targets.  Knowledge of Trakkar, Goldcheck, Safety and Sodexo Shine a plus.  Great customer/employee relations a must. This position will report directly to the District Manager.
